Security-minded administration
In addition to protection from the world outside your
office, Doc-cetera provides protection within your office as well.
The strengths of a collaborative document system become a
liability if controls are not in place to prevent the abuse --
intentional or otherwise -- of your most sensitive information.
-
Doc-cetera lets you control information access among your peers
by employing three levels of management control:
- A single SuperAdmin may create document sets and
allow new users.
- Multiple users on the Admin level may add, edit and
delete documents in Doc-cetera. The SuperAdmin level can restrict
and grant privileges to members in the Admin level.
- The SuperAdmin may create a Common Access group and
provide them with read-only access to Doc-cetera information.
Common Access Users can search document sets and generate
reports from them, but cannot add, modify or delete Doc-cetera
information.
